This album starts at the high point of the hike from Whittier to Portage Pass then travels down into the valley floor and Portage Glacier. From there the album works its way back along Turnagain Arm towards Cook Inlet to the Chugach State Park high above the Anchorage Bowl with wide ranging views of the Alaska Range including a distant view of to Mt. McKinley as sun sets on Alaska.
