The central highlands on the border of Kerala and Tamil Nadu and southern India team with the life and water that feeds the regions. Elephants, wild boar, monkeys, exotic frogs, and many other species inhabit this area. This just shows that although India is rapidly developing there are still regions that are decidedly wild. Tropical rain forest and flowers abound and tea plantations sprout between the bamboo forests.
